“Voice of the Community '' is an event where dinner is provided to your family, and we have a conversation with the community to hear your concerns, needs and desires from the service agencies that are provided to the community. The KGCA wants to know how we can help with job location, address the social needs of the community, help your children access clothing and supplies for school, how food sustainability can be offered for the family, how we can empower families in the community and more. King George believes in neighbors helping neighbors, now the KGCA wants to provide the resources for community support. Join us April 1st for dinner, raffles, conversation and a box of food from the Fredericksburg Food Bank. With innovative conversation we can create sustainable change in King George. What is the King George Community Alliance?King George Community Alliance (KGCA) is a local nonprofit formed to serve the needs of the King George area residents with opportunities to encourage empowerment, enable self-sufficiency, and advocate for the needs of the community through agency support by taking a bold step to invest in the community families by creating one building (our desire with the KGCA is to connect services to the community in a more centralized, accessible, and meaningful way.
