Please join rePURPOSE Society x Remake x Fashion Revolution x Ciclo SF for “TOTES YES", a spring/summer clothing swap followed by an upcycled denim bag class. We will honor the 10th anniversary of Rana Plaza and #Protect Progress for our garment industry workers and the planet. **Clothing Swap (12 p.m. - 2 p.m.)** Please bring unwanted, QUALITY clothing to trade: Womens, Mens, Teens, KidsItems must be in GOOD condition, washed, and ironed. NO stained clothes, items with holes, or underwear. All accessories are welcome: gently worn shoes, handbags, jewelry, scarves, etc.Spring/Summer wear is highly encouraged!- Due to the overwhelming amount of items we received last swap, we ask that guests limit their clothing swap items to 2 large bags. If you have more quality items that you would like to donate, please reach out to us directly at [email protected] All leftover fashion items will be donated to local agencies such as Urban Angels and Casa de las Madres to help our unhoused and marginalized neighbors in need. **DIY Denim Bag Workshop (2 p.m. - 4 p.m.)** Ages 10 and up. Bring some denim to upcycle into a tote. Ciclo SF is a sewing school and will provide machines and all sewing supplies. Wear your Values! Ticket purchase includes Raffle entry with fabulous prizes! From: Fabrix, SCRAP, Ciclo, San Franpyscho, De Young Museum, and more! Suggested ticketed donation of $30.00 will be invested back into Remake's educational and ambassador programs and the Fashion Accountability Report of sustainable brands as well as Ciclo SF to continue their sewing education programs. Light snacks will be provided Public transportation is recommended, take the N Judah or Muni 44,66. Remake is a global advocacy organization fighting for fair pay and climate justice in the clothing industry. We are here to end poverty wages, unsafe conditions, and gender-based violence with which our clothes are made today. Our fast-growing community of activists, designers, IG addicts, feminists, storytellers, and all-around fashion aficionados are committed to advocating for the women who make our clothes and have taken the pledge to buy better, remaking our closets with fashion that respects women and our planet.
