This is Global Tendo La Upendo's annual fundraising event that raises money for the organizations core focuses of Education, Clean Water and Prison Outreach. At the brunch we will be presenting the Yvette Mathis Scholarship awards to a few recipients. A $500-$1,000 award donated to female students in honor of Yvette Mathis, a vibrant woman who loved life and valued education because of its impact on someone's life. This scholarship will empower a student in need. This event will feature live music by Winnie Yin, One of kind jewelry from the people of Uganda for purchase, and a silent auction. Through education, clean water, and prison outreach we hope to provide love, quality education, training, and life skills to the marginalized in our community, nation, and world. Learn more.
