The Lost Dreams Awaken Center, a registered 501c3 non-profit, recovery community organization, is Hosting the Peer Recovery Support Workforce Development Series for 2023-2024 for Peer Workers, Recovery Coaches (RCP),CRS, CFRS, CPS, FPS, RSS, CHW, and others who serve in the recovery ecosystem. Join us for this exciting PRSW Seminar by Presenter: Beth Bitler, MSA, CAAP, CFRS Beth has over 30 years’ experience working in the field of child welfare, parent education and SUD treatment. She has developed curriculum on parenting in recovery and led numerous groups for parents and families, and blends both professional and personal experience in her work with families in recovery. Seminar Participants will Learn:  Challenges (and joys!) of being a parent in recovery.  Why parents attend (or don’t attend) parenting classes and support groups.  Ways to prevent return to use by creating stronger parent-child bonding.  Harm Reduction tools and strategies for Parents in Recovery.  Details on a NEW family support program, designed specifically for Recovering Parents!
