On April 15th, at the Sewickley Farmers Market, Shelby and friends will be at Dream Thyme Farm booth handing out free marigold seeds with care instructions in hopes to spread joy and help to honor the memory both Lyric and Wylde this spring. So why marigolds? A note from Shelby: Lyric and Wylde had a love for flowers and the idea of gardening for as long as I can remember. I started growing lavender with them in 2020, and when we moved to Miller way in 2022 there were marigolds growing in the front right next to the stairs. Come fall, our very best friend Miss Hannah told them “if you remove the flower, and bury it deep, they will come back in the spring!” They would spend the next hour burying every flower they could find, and I’m very sure they will come back. With your very own flowers, we can continue to spread their stories and keep their love alive. I hope these seeds bring you the happiness they brought me everyday. Shelby
