The University of Delaware is back with Blueprint:Heroes and Villains! Blueprint 12.0 is the legendary stroll competition for the Greek community, this includes the University of Delaware Multicultural Greek Organizations as well as surrounding schools organizations. This traditional cultural event has been running for 12 years on campus!
Competitors will compete in two stroll competitions, one for fraternities and one for sororities. The teams will perform for three rounds, the winners being chosen by a panel of judges, our very own alumni from the University of Delaware! Both winners take home $500 cash and trophies to display their siccess.
Strolling has been an important part of culture and history, and we would like to pay homage and awareness by keeping this tradition alive. Strolling showcases cultural aspects and raises awareness to the culture and diversity within the UD and Newark community. It is based on a long and rich tradition in African-based communities that used movement and sounds to communicate as a group. This is the opportunity for those who are participating to exhibit the historical performance to the audience.
