We invite you to join us at 6pm on April 16, 2023 to enjoy an evening of beer tastings from North Water Brewing, along with delicious bites from Taproot Catering, in an effort to sponsor children attending our annual summer Safety School program. Kent Junior Mothers is a non-profit service organization in Kent, OH. Founded in 1945, our purpose is to guide the physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual health of the children in our great community. We provide Safety School for all incoming kindergarten students each summer. We discuss important safety topics such as water, poison, bus riding, stranger, phone, etc. and provide topic speakers, snacks, and t-shirts for all students. Historically, Safety School has been a fee-based program for our participants. Last year, our generous community members participated in this Annual Fundraising Event, helping KJM to raise enough funds to host Safety School for all of the children for FREE!!! We also gave each participant a t-shirt and bicycle helmet to use for the week and take home! Please help us match our offering from last year! Tickets for this fundraising event are available here, for $50 each! This includes admission to the event as well as food, two drink tickets and 1 raffle basket ticket. There will be opportunities to sponsor children to attend Safety School, buy helmets for children, enter chances to win raffle baskets, purchase booze wagon and 50/50 tickets! If you are unable to join us on Sunday, April 16, 2023, we have other opportunities for you to participate by sponsoring 1 child for $35, sponsoring the purchase of 1 bicycle helmet for a child for $25, or bundling both for $60!
