Addiction isn't a choice. Compassion is. The University of Denver's Collegiate Recovery Program and Pre-Health Education & Advising Department present, Tipping the Pain Scale, a feature documentary film following individuals grappling with the current systemic failures for dealing with addiction in communities and their journey to develop and employ new, innovative, and often controversial solutions to the problem in an urgent fight to save lives. Admission is free, registration is required. A reception with light hors d'oeuvre will be offered prior to the screening in the Davis Auditorium Lobby starting at 3:30pm. Screening will start at 4:00pm in Davis Auditorium, followed by a Q&A session at 5:30pm.
