Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business would like to cordially invite you to its First Annual Spring Benefit Gala on Thursday, April 13th from 8pm to 12am. We are proud to announce our partner and beneficiary of the event, D.C. Central Kitchen (DCCK). DCCK is a D.C. nonprofit dedicated to providing culinary job training for unemployed individuals while creating living wage jobs and bringing nutritious food where it is most needed. All proceeds from ticket sales and student organization sponsorships will be donated to DCCK after the event.
The gala will take place at Culture House in Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., a refurbished church and art exhibit located a short walk from the wharf. The event will entail two different levels and an outdoor courtyard, ensuring an immersive and encapsulating experience of the venue. The first floor offers a cocktail style atmosphere, with information detailing our student partnerships and DCCK, accompanied by a live band and art exhibit that will be open throughout the event. The top floor offers a dance floor along with a DJ, with artwork and intricate murals lining every wall.
The event will offer four hours of hors d'oeuvres and multiple open bars for 21+ attendees. With 18+ and 21+ ticket packages, everyone can take part in the fun. Students from all schools are invited and encouraged to attend. More information on affordable transportation options to be released closer to the event. We hope to see you for a truly memorable night!
A special thank you to our partners and sponsors: The Corp, MSB Tech Center, Hilltop Consultants, Innovo Consulting, AASA, Georgetown Ventures, GAMBLE, GU Eating Society, Blue and Gray, DCIVITAS, GUSIF, Zeeba Investing Group, Sigma Phi Epsilon, GUASFCU, HMFI, GUPREF, and Alpha Epsilon Pi.
