Kuṇḍalinī Sādhana is the journey into the already Awakened Heart -- the practice of becoming aware of that essence. Kuṇḍalinī Sādhana is an ancient spiritual practice in the nondual tradition of Trika Śaivism that allows individuals to deeply experience their own direct, inner connection to the Divine. This practice focuses on awakening the powerful transformative force called kuṇḍalinī, the divine energy that is always present within every human being. When it flows through us, kuṇḍalinī can wash away our deepest tensions, expand the flow of creative energy, and eliminate our misunderstandings about our true nature, culminating in the blissful dissolution of dualistic consciousness into the experience of unity. - In nondual traditions, śakti transmission is understood to be the highest form of spiritual initiation, providing students with immediate access to the divine energy that dwells within them. The transmission of energy, an essential ingredient in the awakening of kuṇḍalinī, is transmitted in four primary ways: look, touch, thought, and word. In our practice, the “open-eye class,” or śakti transmission by look, is the principal method that allows for the direct transmission from teacher to student. As an energetic flow is established between teacher and student, the student can begin to internalize the energy, creating a deep connection to the sacred space of the heart that ultimately leads to the recognition of the true nature of the Self. In this workshop, Swami Khecaranatha, an authentic kuṇḍalinī adept, will offer an overview of his practice and teachings, a guided meditation, and śakti transmission, followed by Q&A and further discussion.
