Digials aka digis to submit yourself for all kinds of talent work like print modeling, runway shows, commercials, fit modeling, and more. Model Do's and Don'ts, Tips and Tricks from a professional model and talent agent. If you want to pursue modeling and get paid. Let's do it. Allow me to share my excitement, experience, and talented team of educated industry professionals with you! Here are some of the things every model needs that I would like to help you achieve in this workshop: Confidence: As a model or talent, you need to be confident in yourself and your abilities. Being a model is like being the best version of yourself, we get to practice professionalism and tap in to a creative experience. Every project requires you to step into a role and you're the main star. Confidence will help you stand out and perform well during auditions fittings and photo shoots. I will teach you how to stand when fitting, how to measure yourself correctly, how to get dressed properly, understanding exclusive vs nonexclusive contracts, and we will discuss the culture of of control vs empowerment in the industry. Knowing this WILL make you feel confident when working and making decisions for yourself.Professionalism: You should always behave in a professional manner when dealing with clients, agents, photographers, and other industry professionals. This includes being punctual, reliable, and respectful. The first half of the workshop is all about understanding what it takes to be a professional model, and fit model. Talent Agent and Model, Lauren Slater, and I will teach you valuable do's and don’ts when working and booking jobs. Digitals aka Digis: Your digitals are a collection of your best natural images. They are used to showcase your talent, body size, features, and personality to potential clients and agents. Make sure your digis are well-organized and include front, side, back and wearing simple styles like the classic black legging and tank, and/or a swimsuit. Every Modeling 101 Workshop participant will get photo time with Christos Watson from stosphotography.com. Industry professionals like him will have you getting booked in no time! Every model gets 15 minutes and two looks. This means you will need to wear a pair of leggings, a tank top, denim and if you have a leather jacket, bring it! Modeling portfolio aka port aka book: Your port is a collection of your best photos and other visual materials. They are used to showcase your versatility and range which is important as a model. A modeling portfolio should be updated frequently, making it easier for potential clients to assess your suitability for a role.
