Bluegrass Section IFT is kicking off our events this year with a brief introduction to sensory science at Beam. Dinner will be covered with admission, provided by our hosts at Coal's Artisan Pizza! Originally from Costa Rica, Adriana has a degree in Food Engineering with a Master’s in Sensory Sciences. Her Sensory experience started at Mission Foods, Costa Rica, where she developed their sensory program. After obtaining her Master’s degree, she worked at AB InBev where she was the Global Sensory Specialist until November 2022, when she joined Beam Suntory. She currently lives in Louisville with her husband Eric, and their dogs Gigi and Daisy. They enjoy sunny days together at Cherokee Park and are constantly looking for the best cocktail and beer spots. Join her on April 4th for an overview of the uses of Sensory Science in the alcohol industry.
