We have invited Mike Davis, head of the Bexar County DWI Task Force, Chief McManus from the San Antonio Police Department, Sherriff Salazar from the Bexar County Sherriff's Department, the Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales, and staff from the Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of Transportation, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving to join us to share information with the community about preventing impaired driving all the time, but especially during Fiesta. This countywide event will educate the public about law enforcement's increased enforcement efforts during Fiesta and the importance of planning ahead, appointing someone to stay sober, or using rideshare services when drinking. Impaired driving is a crime that takes the lives of thousands of people and it's 💯 percent preventable. Take a rideshare or designate a non drinking driver to stay safe all year round.
