Arden Court's Memory Café | Animal Parade. April 19th, 2023 at 10am Arden Courts | 15290 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, Tx 78231 We welcome old and new members to join us for our Animal Parade Memory Café at Arden Courts. Happy Tails Entertainment is an exotic animal outreach that takes unique animals to all. For the parade, Happy Tail's handlers & their animals will walk & mingle with the guests so they can see them up close, take pictures, and touch them. We then rotate animals every 15 – 20 minutes. What are Memory Cafès? Persons living with dementia and their families are at higher risk for social isolation and poor connectedness than families who are not impacted by dementia. Memory Cafès create an opportunity for intentional connection with others in your community who are living similar experiences. The activities are dementia friendly and encourage cognitive stimulation while also providing an opportunity to connect with others.
