Description
Alexis Duffy, First 5 Shasta's Quality Counts Coordinator, recently attended the Early Years Conference in San Diego. At this First 5 Institute Smart Start Alexis will provide an overview of key content as well as information and updates about the early education field highlighted at the Early Years Conference. The purpose of the Early Years Conference was to shine a spotlight on the role early educators play in bridging early learning programs and kindergarten through 3rd grade. Information on developmentally appropriate practice to support a strong birth through third grade continuum was also a feature of the conference.
