Take a deep dive into one of the artists from the 1950s Bay Area Movement, Nathan Oliveira, who was a figurative painter, sculptor, and printmaker. Learn Oliveira's unique style and how to paint figures with a more abstract composition—bridge the gap between abstract and objective art! Plus, discover how to make a simple and fun printmaking without a press. Students will walk away from this workshop with their own Nathan Oliveira inspired painting and a monotype print.
