Get ready for the 2nd Annual Tour de Burke: Lake James presented by Burke LEAF & Kevin Castro of Coldwell Banker/Newton Real Estate! This year's ride will again start at Freedom High School of Morganton and loop around beautiful Lake James before ending back at Freedom High School. The approximate mileage will be 31 miles. The ride will be escorted by local law enforcement and there will be manned aide stations along the route with water and snacks. After the ride, lunch will be provided by Chick-fil-A of Morganton. The kids event and bike rodeo begins at 10:30am and ends around 1:00pm. Kids event flyer available on Facebook @burkeleafnc. Registration for the ride will be available the day of the event, but in order to confirm shirt, goody bag and lunch availability, please register by May 1st.
