You may recall from the news that Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst died by suicide in 2022. Cheslie competed in both Miss SC and Miss NC; ran track at USC; and was a member of both the SC and NC bars. She was incredibly accomplished and appeared to be living “the perfect life” which makes her story now being told through her mother April so compelling.
