The Newton County Democratic Committee (NCDC) is hosting a fundraiser event. The NCDC is a county committee of the Democratic Party of Georgia. The NCDC is organizing a signature event titled a Blue Evening of R & B Music. The event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Legion Field amphitheater in Covington, Georgia. The event will feature live music from outstanding performers and a renowned singer, who has worked with Beyoncé and Tyler Perry. Patrons are encouraged to bring food and beverages using picnic basket style dinning. The fundraiser will allow us to provide voter outreach services and similar voter centered efforts. The Newton County Democratic Committee recognizes that support from the local businesses, organizations and community members are essential partners of this fundraiser. The event includes a phenomenal line up of performers - Danae Marie, Tajee and Chrissy Collins from Beyonce, Tyler Perry and BJ Vann! The individual seating options are as follows: o VIP individual seating, which is closest to the stage, provides table and chair seating for $70 per person o Mid-section individual seating, which is located midway from the stage, provides table and chair seating for $58 per person o Lawn section individual seating, which is located in the rear, allows patrons to bring their own lawn chair and small table (length of 24 inches and width of 18 or smaller). The lawn section seating is $45 per person. The table sponsorship options are as follows: o The VIP table sits 8 people at a cost of $70 per person. The VIP tables are located closest to the stage. The total VIP table sponsorship is $560. o The mid-section table sits 8 people at a cost of $58.00 per person. The mid-section tables are located midway from the stage. The total mid-section table sponsorship is $464. *NOTE: Please do not bring tents or umbrellas.
