This class is about Rye Whiskey which is growing in popularity in the United States at a rate of more than 20% annually. Rye Whiskey 203 is a class about a compilation of rye Whiskeys from seven different Geographic Regions throughout North America that produce Rye Whiskey the vast majority of rye whiskey in the world. You will learn about and sample pours from the following seven areas: 1.) The Maryland Rye Region 2.) The Pennsylvania Monongahela Rye Region 3.) The Bourbon Capital Region 4.) The Bluegrass Region 5.) The Whiskey Row Region 6.) M. G. P. (Midwest Grain Products) 7.) Tennessee Region Class includes a total of nine ½ oz pours from the regions above - in addition to 2+ hours of instruction on the history and tastings. There will be light snacks and water provided during class. Invite a friend or make it a date night! Whiskey University teaches public classes throughout the country at Restaurants, Bars, Country Clubs, Distillery locations, Liquor Stores, Grocery stores, Casinos, Lodges and Senior Living Facilities. We also teach private classes for hire at parties, events or shows. Our sole mission is to educate the public about the history and virtues of Bourbon, Tennessee Whiskey and other various whiskeys. Must be 21 years of age to attend.
