Join us at The Underline's River Room on Thursday, March 30th, from 6-8 PM for an evening of food, music, and networking. We're excited to announce Amazon as the 2023 sponsor of Community Connections!  Join us for our popular community event: Community Connections: Speed Friending X Spotlight: Miami Culinary Institute, in partnership with Miami Dade College Foundations, Miami Dade Wolfson Campus, and Miami Culinary Institute. Come prepared to enjoy an array of delicious culinary treats curated by students completing their Institute studies! Strike up a conversation with a community member, The Underline team, and representatives from Commissioner Eileen Higgins's office. Participate in our Speed Friending activity and engage with new people for 3 minutes or less before moving on to the next person. We look forward to seeing you there! Special thanks to The Dunspaugh-Dalton Foundation for supporting this event. •••⁠ Getting there: The River Room begins at the intersection of SW 1st Court and SW 7th Street, when you arrive please walk north. •⁠ 🚆Take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station, exit north and walk to River Room, located at SW 1st Court and SW 7th Street, and then head toward the Miami River at 600 SW 1st Court, Miami, FL 33130 (the end of the River Room). •⁠ 🚴‍♂️ Walk or bike (park your bike in the River Room.) •⁠ 🚗 If you drive, please use nearby street parking, Brickell City Centre parking, or Mary Brickell Village parking.
