Alpha lasts 10 weeks but you do not need to commit to all ten weeks up front. Feel free to come to nights #1 or #2 to get a better idea of Alpha before making a decision. Millions around the world have been to an Alpha event. Alpha is attended by people from all spiritual/religious backgrounds. Some have described it as the "Rosetta Stone for Christianity" as you will get to know more about the basics of the Christian language for understanding life. We ask question like these at Alpha: - Is there more to the world than what we can see with our 5 senses? - Is there meaning and purpose to life? - Is guilt and shame just a social-psychological illusion? - What is "faith" and how does it come about? - Is anyone listening when I pray? - How/can we know what is true, good, and beautiful? - Is there any guidance in this life or are we our only guide? Conversations about these topics will be normal at Alpha. You can pick your table of 8 and each week your friendships will develop as you learn together. What will a night look like? 6:30pm: Dinner & Socialize 7:00pm: Video Presentation 7:30pm: Table Conversation 8:30pm: Night ends
