Have you been afraid to try growing houseplants in your home, apartment or a particular room, because you think you don't have enough light? Fear not! Many indoor plants thrive in low-light conditions and are also easy to grow. Lighting conditions can be a challenge for the indoor gardener but fortunately there are plenty of low-light indoor plants to choose from. Enjoy a fun-filled presentation by Robert Bowden, recently retired Director of Leu Gardens, as he discusses a wide variety of easy to grow, low-light houseplants. Gardeners of all ages are encouraged to sign up early – this class fills up fast!
Robert Bowden recently retired as Executive Director of Leu Gardens after nearly three decades. Earlier in his career he was the Executive Director of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Director of Horticulture of the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, and Assistant Director of Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island.
