NOTE #1 - MIKE'S HOUSE HAS SPECIAL PARKING - YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO PARK ON THE MAIN ENTRANCE ROAD (KNOLLAC DRIVE), ON EITHER SIDE. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON ANY OTHER STREET OR IN HIS DRIVEWAY. NOTE #2 - DO NOT KNOCK. DO NOT RING THE DOORBELL. Just enter through the front door, and use the door on the left to go down to the basement. Location: Mike Veith's House - 30107 Stage Coach Circle, Milford DE 19963 Date: 3/29/2023 - Doors open at 6:00pm for practice and will end at 6:55pm so we can go over announcements. Tournament starts at 7pm Registration: Eventbrite will handle the registration. No fees are due when signing up on Eventbrite. We are just using Eventbrite to control the number of players who sign up as well as having an automated waitlist. When signing up on Eventbrite you are allowed to reserve up to 2 spots at once. https://wednesdayweeklytournament329.eventbrite.com Cost: $5 Prizes: Top 8 will win cash/prizes Format and Rules: FORMAT: Flip Frenzy Round Robin 10-15 head to head matches. This will run similar to a flip frenzy with 3 major differences. The first is that the queue will be like 6-8 players instead of 2-3 so it won't be as "frantic" as a regular flip frenzy. Second, you will never play the same person more than once, unlike flip frenzies where you have the chance to play people multiple times in the same night. Lastly, everyone will play the same number of games, unlike a flip frenzy where some players play 16 games and others play 13 or 14 games. FINALS FORMAT: MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT BRACKET - All players will make the finals. The finals will be played out just the like the NCAA March Madness tournament. The format will be head to head, single elimination and it will go based off of seeding. For example, if 32 players show up, then Seed #1 will play Seed #32. Seed #2 will play Seed #31, etc. First round will cut out 16 players. Second round will cut out 8 players. Third round will cut out 4 players. Fourth round will cut out 2 players. Fifth round will be between the last 2 remaining players. NOTE - THIS IS NOT AN IFPA SANCTIONED EVENT
