Looking for something fun and free to do with your children on BVSD's Spring In-Service Day? Hop into spring and celebrate Earth Day with Thorne Nature Experience at Sombrero Marsh Environmental Education Center. We will have art projects, scavenger hunts with Thorne educators, and dancing and singing with our favorite nature performers Jeff & Paige! Schedule of Events: 10 am-11 am: Nature activities including scavenger hunts, dip netting in the mini wetland, art activities, games, and nature explorations11 am-noon: Concert by Jeff & PaigePack a picnic lunch and a picnic blanket to enjoy the mountain views. This event will be outdoors, rain or shine. Please plan for the weather and bring sunscreen, layers, and water. Carpooling with friends, riding bikes, or public transportation is recommended.
