You are cordially invited to a celebration of the life and example of Blessed Emperor and King Karl of Austria-Hungary on the 101st anniversary of his death. Christian of Hapsburg, Archduke of Austria - Blessed Karl’s grandson - will share Blessed Karl’s life story and the life experiences God blessed him with to reach others through messages of Faith, family, history, and the responsibility of leadership. This event will conclude Archduke Christian’s first US speaking tour to share about the virtues of his grandfather whose Canonization process is prayed for in many countries and his grandmother, Servant of God, Empress and Queen Zita. The Archduke’s messages are not only interesting and motivating but relatable to anyone. As Archduke Christian puts it, "When you have received a lot in terms of inspiring examples and deep values, you must share these with others." A gifted and eloquent speaker, the Archduke offers an engaging combination of history and concrete suggestions for the future. Audiences in many countries around the world have been captivated. The invitation includes a 5:30 PM vigil Mass for Blessed Karl at MaryMount University Chapel followed by a presentation by Archduke Christian, starting at 6:30 pm. (Guests are welcome to attend the reception only.) Cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served at Washington Golf and Country Club on Saturday, April 1st. Space is limited.
