Join us April 28, to meet and be inspired by Eddie Aikau Invitational big wave champion and North Shore lifeguard Luke Shepardson. On January 23, 2023, we all watched in awe as Luke won the world’s most prestigious big wave contest, then went back to work in his lifeguard tower at Waimea Bay to make sure everyone went home safely. Everyone is invited, junior guards, groms, their families and the whole community. There will be plenty of time for questions and photos with Luke. The evening will also include a showing of the film, Big Wave Guardians, featuring Luke, his fellow North Shore lifeguards and monster surf. Don’t miss this amazing event! Doors and pizza serving open at 5PM. Program begins at 6PM.
