The Boston Kids Comics Fest is a daylong festival that invites children, parents/guardians, educators and librarians to discover and explore “kid friendly-comics”, graphic novels and hybrid books.
We gives kids the opportunity to take comic book inspired workshops from highly talented children's book authors and illustrators in the industry. Our dynamic comic book workshops, round tables, and lectures will inspire, educate, and motivate children of all ages and abilities to "level up" their comic book making skills.
Our Kids' Workshops are a safe place for children to explore their creativity, storytelling skills, and drawing talents. Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of comic creation and all are taught by leading comic book authors and illustrators in the industry. Our teachers are experienced working with children of all ages and abilities. All the workshops are designed to meet children where they are at while also challenging them - so that children will leave the workshops inspired and motivated to create more.
