Bike and Blooms: Earth Day Garden Bike Tour

This bike ride will begin at the Botanic Gardens on Independence Blvd. at 10 a.m. on Earth Day. The group will travel to five locations in the Old Goodwood neighborhood to visit different home gardens. Each location will feature something different! You're going to learn about more than just plants. For example, there will be information about beekeeping and raising chickens, too! You MUST bring your own bike and children under 12 are not advised to participate due to the distance. There will be a mid-point stop for a bathroom break and beverages. However, you should bring your own water bottle and sunscreen is advised. One location will be at a local native plant nursery, which will have items for sale. Also, each participant will get a plant to take home as well as other items. This picture was taken at one of the locations during the 2022 tour.
