Title: WEEK long Functional Fused Glass Kids’ Class $500 June 12th-16th Monday-Friday Week intensive 9am-2pm 8-17 years of age Skills: Sandblasting, Puddles/ Collage , Enamels, Stencils, and Potential screen printing Things we will make: Coaster, Drop out bowl, Plate, and Pockets In this workshop, our instructor will guide you through studio basics and safety and then give you a demonstration on the pieces you will be making. Then you will have the opportunity to learn fused glass techniques such as sandblasting, collage, enamels, stencils, and potentially screen printing on glass. We will focus on making functional items in this class such as a coaster, drop out bowl, plates, and glass pockets. Also, we will be having a 30 minute lunch break so please pack accordingly. We will not serve lunch. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio. You must be 8-17 years of age or older to participate.
