Description
Black communities in the U.S. suffer from poorer health outcomes, including in digestive health. Despite efforts to address disparities in gastroenterology and hepatology, health inequity persists. A symposium dedicated to Black digestive health is needed to convene experts to discuss the historical, current and future state of health inequity and a way forward. This symposium provides a platform to explore the root causes of health and health care disparities, highlight current problems, and present evidence-based solutions. The B.I.G.
