KOSTUME KULT PRESENTS Horned Ball 2023 FEAST OF THE JAKKALOPE This season begats the ultimate mashup of Year of the Rabbit, Animalia and Easter with a Last Supper celebration serving up our Lord and Savior as the main course for this infamous, absurdist spring bacchanal. To play along with this year's theme, lean into Burning Man's 2023 "Animalia" theme as a Horny Hare or other fantastical creature with extra points for americana kitsch, bad taxidermy (fake or ethically sourced) or twisted biblical... Jackalopes spring forth from 1930's Wyoming as horned jackrabbits with a taste for whiskey and haunting singing voices spawning an industry of taxidermied jackalope trophies, "official" hunting licenses and many roadside attractions. Our "JaKKalope"  weaves a much taller tale where, some will say, Jesus's body did not miraculously vanish from his cave but was instead served up as the main course at his actual "last supper" by a secret society of fabulous furries.
