Description

Join Sarah and Tatum as they guide you through a parent/child bracelet-making workshop. This Mother and Son duo are well known in our community and will provide a fun crafting experience with beaded bracelets. This workshop will be perfect for children and adults of all ages. Tatum is autistic and nonspeaking. This workshop is neurodivergent friendly. If you or your child need any accommodations during your visit, please contact the store and let us know. Sarah is Mother to Tatum and an advocate for the autistic community. This class is meant to be fun and meaningful. Chat with your hosts about your special interests, about bracelets, learn about autism, ask questions you may have, talk about parenthood, or sit in comfortable silence with us as you craft. Materials and supplies are included in your ticket purchase. This workshop will be at 1:00pm on April 29th. Call or email Books and Bakery with any questions or concerns you might have. A portion of ticket sales will go towards the fundraiser being ran by Sarah and Tatum. This year, their April fundraising is for the local Summer Fun Camp. Summer Fun Camp is a summer camp for disabled children who are elementary age and live in the Carroll area.
