I'm so grateful and honored to Mrs. Jackie Rose & the Rose Family Empowerment Center to Sponsor I Care Maternity Home fundraiser & movie premiere From the Ashes. Screening will begin at 7:00 pm From the Ashes is a multidisciplinary narrative of a black woman’s journey through depression and resulting spiritual rebirth. Through the use of photography, video sequences, sound design, and dance, From the Ashes brings forth the gritty reality of the day to day sacrifices that women make that often leads to loss of self, and potentially, loss of life.
