Join us for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month!
Planting Partner: Sustainable Claremont
Sustainable Claremont engages people in education and action to create a more sustainable community – environmentally, socially, and economically – in Claremont and beyond.
Event Description:
Volunteers will be provided with tools and training to plant the 12 to 15 trees. This will be a great educational opportunity for the community and a great healing event for folks who are still lamenting the loss of so many trees in our urban forest due to a historic wind event that occurred in early 2022, taking down hundreds of mature trees.
Meeting Point: Volunteers will meet in the park at the Sustainable Claremont EZ-UP which will be placed adjacent to the parking lot.
