2023 BLESSING OF THE BIKES

Description

Dancers will begin their demonstration at noon. Blessing to follow using smudge pot with sage. Ride to follow blessing. All Bikes are Welcome. Two or 3 wheels no matter brand are welcome. Details: our leader is Melinda Trentham, who is of Cherokee, Blackfoot and Melungeon decent. Since the age of 13, she has been a dancer / demonstrator for her heritage and culture. Currently, she is a Women's Southern Traditional Cloth dancer and an ordained minister. Donations for dancers will be appreciated. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Ride (to be determined) will follow the blessing.
