Friends of Refugees invites you to join us in Clarkston for an Open House. April 15, between 10AM- 1PM. Friends of Refugees wants to extend hospitality and welcome to you. Come learn about all the opportunities Friends of Refugees offers through our pillars: health & well-being, education, and employment. While here, visit our different program sites, meet staff, enjoy snacks and have a cup of tea. Park at 1019 Rowland Street to visit our Embrace Refugee Birth Support House, Parwana: English for Women classrooms, and Refugee Family Literacy (RFL) school site.Visit 725 Jolly Avenue South to tour and to see updates at the Jolly Avenue Garden, learning about Growing Leaders, the Summer Youth Experience, and the garden.Drop-ins are welcome. Guided walking tours are also available, led by a member of our staff. The walking route is short, under half a mile total. It begins and ends at the same location at 1019 Rowland Street. Conclude the tour after a short drive to Jolly Avenue Garden, 725 Jolly Avenue. Walking tours will depart at 10:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Kindly RSVP with total guest count by April 10
