We're super excited to invite you to a special Entrepreneurial Saturday Mentoring Academy, Startup Weekend style! This is not another panel or workshop. We're here to inspire and support you with action! Have an idea you've been ready to bring to life? Is someone always telling you something you thought of should be a business? Then this weekend is for you. Learn what it really takes to innovate, disrupt, and start a company from people who’ve been there. Walk through the Lean Startup Method, Start something great, Learn from the best, Learn what it really takes to innovate, disrupt, start a company and HAVE FUN. The abbreviated event will provide exposure to startup concepts including: · Impact: innovative idea that would have impact education in years to come? · Customer validation: do the legwork to determine how viable a product would be in the eyes of their customers? · Execution/design: Create a user-friendly demo · Business model: create a realistic business model that has the chance to succeed and be sustainable Over an action-packed three days, you’ll meet the very best mentors, investors, co-founders, and sponsors to show you how to get more done faster -- and, maybe even start that business Not to mention we do include meals and free google ad credits for all attendees. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education. MEET OUR HOST Our host, Roger Osario has taught people from 8 to 80 years old and from all walks of life how to take their goals, dreams, and ideas from concept to creation. His style and approach has inspired people to believe in themselves and make the impossible possible! He is the founder of The School of Reinvention, a community-based reinvention platform where Roger helps corporate professionals who are not fulfilled by their jobs to launch a side hustle or passion project that aligns with their values, passion, and purpose so that they don’t have to quit their 9-5 jobs immediately.
