Friends of Museum of the Everglades have generously offered $1500 in cash prizes for student submissions to the Hometown Heroes exhibit. Prizes will be awarded to contest winners, across three different age groups, will judged on content, creativity, and a variety of other considerations with grand prizes and runners up for each category. Students, parents, and families as well as the general public are invited to attend this ceremony and celebrate the school’s support of our history and heritage initiative while enjoying the exhibit comprised of contributions from our local kids.
