Tracy Earth Project has arranged for a dynamic speaker to tell us more about Justice40 on which federally funded projects receive 40 of the budget. The Justice40 initiative requires government agencies to make recommendations on how certain federal investments might be made toward a goal that 40 percent of the overall benefits flow to disadvantaged communities. For far too long, environmental policy decisions have failed to adequately account for environmental injustice, including the disproportionate, disparate and cumulative impacts pollution and climate change have on low-income communities and communities of color.
