NOVEMBER SCHEDULE NOTES: We won't have Baby and Me the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. How's your week going? Your day? This crazy year? Drop-in for Family Connections' hit Baby and Me program. Share the joys and challenges of raising brilliant and boisterous babies (birth - 12 months) with other parents and caregivers. The conversation runs from 10 am till 11:45; come by anytime, as your schedule allows. You are never late for Baby and Me! If you have any questions, please email [email protected] for more information. Where: Cleveland Heights Library Playroom (2340 Lee Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118) Who: Children ages birth-12 months and their caregivers. Please help us stay open and protect all of our participants!Illness, Mask, and Vaccination Policy:Adults and children 3-years of age and older are encouraged to wear a mask that fully covers their mouth and nose. Family Connections can provide masks if they are needed. Family Connections reserves the right to change our policies as we deem necessary for the health and safety of participants and staff.We encourage all participants who are eligible to get their COVID-19 vaccine (See American Academy of Pediatrics statement below.)Please stay home if you or your child:Have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19Have had a fever or chills in the last 24 hoursHas a new loss of taste or smellHas nausea, vomiting or had diarrhea in the last 24 hoursHas congestion or a runny noseHas fatigue, muscle, body aches or headachesHas a persistent cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathingHas a sore throatCurrently feels or acts illFamily Connections staff may ask any participant to leave if they cannot or will not follow the illness policy. All Family Connections playroom staff have been fully vaccinated and will continue to mask. “The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly endorses the use of safe and effective infection control measures to protect children and adolescents. COVID-19 vaccination, ventilation, physical distancing, testing and use of a well-fitting and comfortable face mask or respirator are all part of a comprehensive strategy to mitigate risk and help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Masks remain a simple but powerful tool to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. “The AAP strongly recommends that all individuals over the age of 6 months receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Additional layered prevention strategies may also be important depending on individual and community level risk…”
