Join us for a unique farm workshop showcasing wool that was sheared from our own Gibbet Hill sheep. 2D needle felting is process of applying carded wool onto fabric to create a piece of art, also known as 'painting with wool'. In this workshop, participants will meet our sheep and learn about the steps involved in processing raw wool so that it is suitable for needle felting. Afterwards, participants will create a 'painting' with the carded wool. All supplies will be provided. Suitable for ages 12 and over. Children, 12 and over, should be supervised by an adult. Price per person includes a thoughtfully prepared snacks . The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm.
