The Hub Kids Bunny Trunk Hop is "trunk-or-treat" style, where kids can take their Easter baskets from trunk to trunk, collect eggs and candy, and meet the Easter Bunny. During most spring events, the little kids sometimes don't get more than a handful of eggs. And that is why for the past six years, The Hub Kids' goal each year has been to ensure every kid gets a basket or bag full of eggs and candy. To make this possible, part of that involves residents and businesses who want to host "trunks" alongside us, bringing smiles to all the children. Decorators are encouraged to enter the spring theme with "everything from whimsical, creative spring gardens to the White Rabbit. Think spring, gardening, butterflies, anything springtime." We are looking for more families, businesses, and groups to join the fun! There is no fee to register. If you would like to participate by decorating your vehicle and handing out eggs, please follow the steps below: Decorated Vehicle Guidelines Free to decorate a vehicle. You must register to host a trunk Decorated vehicles must stay for the duration of the event Choose a family-friendly decoration theme for your vehicle Great promotion for your Business/Organization! Choose your eggs/items to give away! A giveaway is required. Eggs can be filled with candy/toys, and please avoid allergens (nuts) Handout any other items you want - promotional/materials or additional giveaways are highly encouraged Contact Mrs. Tricia Ponicki with any Registration Questions at [email protected] Or For Community Service Hours Mrs. JoAnn at [email protected] Due to the large turnout last year, we highly recommend Trunkers get at least 5 LARGE bags of candy or treasures. Our average attendance is between 500-1000 attendees. This event will be held in the parking stalls at the REAVIS HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT. INFORMATION FOR EB TRUNK"ERS" ONLY 1. All car trunks MUST be registered. Registrants will receive event instructions before the event 2. All participants must provide their candy for distribution. Pre-packaged candy only 3. Trunk owners are encouraged to be creative with their spring trunk theme and outfit 4. Please be courteous to your trunk neighbors and keep your decorations confined to your parking space. 5. Feel Free To Be As Creative and KID FRIENDLY As You Wish! 6. EB (Easter Bunny) Special Events Coordinator may contact you if we have hit our max on duplicated themes 7. No electricity will be provided 8. Vehicles must be turned off for the entire duration of the event 9. For safety precautions, vehicles will not be permitted to move once the event starts. Clean-up will begin after 2:00 pm. Everyone MUST clean up around their space. 10. Any photography taken at or during the event of yourself or your vehicle can be used for The BCA Hub Kids promotional purposes. SET UP Please be in the parking lot between 10:00 am and no later than 11:00 am to set up your space. The Parking Lot Gate will close at 11:15 am.
