For this session, we will begin the workshop by creating either a Dinosaur or Unicorn Easter Egg to take home. Participants will then have to opportuniy to interact with trained dogs as they learn about basic obedience commands and structured play. This event will be approximately 60 minutes in length and will be held at our indoor climate-controlled training facility in South Elgin. Each crafter will need to purchase a ticket in advance to ensure we have enough supplies. Parents assisting their children and younger siblings in attendance who are too young to participate will not need a ticket. All ages and levels of ability are welcome, and our facility is handicap accessible. SFK9 Dog Training, LLC's Kids & K9s Social Events allow children (and other's who may have reservations about dogs) the opportunity to interact with professionally trained theraputic dogs in a comfortable and relaxed group setting. We host picnics in the park, story time reading sessions, make various crafts, and conduct group walks. Parents are required to attend with their child and each child is encouraged to interact and participate at a level that is personally comfortable for them. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that might be a little hesitant with dogs to interact with professionaly trained dogs in a controlled setting. **Please leave your own pups at home as they will not be permitted to attend this event** Tickets are non-refundable, however if you are unable to attend for any reason, arrangements can be made to pick up your crafting kit.
