Children 7-12 are invited for fun-filled stimulating art camps in our spacious Gilchrist Learning Center studios. Our skilled staff will guide your child through hands-on learning using various media to create works of art in a fun and friendly environment. Each day our art educators will engage campers in exciting and age-appropriate art techniques to make original artwork. Art camp sessions are two weeks, Tuesday - Thursday, from 9 am – 4 pm. We encourage full-day registrations as the projects and learning will be different during morning and afternoon sessions. To reserve a full-day camp, please submit two registrations--one for the morning session and one for the afternoon. Snacks are provided throughout the day; students attending camp for a full day must bring a sack lunch with them. There are 5 sessions to choose from: Camp 1 – June 6-8, 13-15Camp 2 – June 20-22, 27-29Camp 3 – July 11-13, 18-20Camp 4 – July 25-27, Aug 1-3Camp 5 – Aug 8-10, 15-17Classes fill quickly, early enrollment is highly encouraged. Class sizes are limited to ten children, assuring plenty of individual interaction with the art teachers. Full-day camp tuition: Members $260 ($130 per half-day session)Non-members $320 ($160 per half-day session)Sibling Discount! THE GILCHRIST LEARNING CENTER REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY Registration closes two days before the start of a class.Class sizes are limited and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, the Gilchrist Learning Center is unable to prorate students for missed classes or classes that they are unable to attend. The Gilchrist Learning Center strives to provide the highest quality art classes with various media for all ages. We value your feedback. If you would like to share your experience or have questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected] weather: It may be necessary to cancel a class at times during inclement weather conditions and warnings; a makeup class will be scheduled for cancelation due to weather.Course cancellation policy: The Gilchrist Learning Center may find it necessary to cancel a course or workshop due if minimum enrollment is not met or other scheduling conflicts impact the class. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and allowed to transfer to another class or be refunded the full course tuition and fees.Student cancellation policy: Students are eligible for a 75% refund of tuition if a request to withdraw is received by the Gilchrist Learning Center Education Department no later than 7 days prior to the first day of the course. Request to withdraw from a course, less than 7 days prior to the first class session will not be eligible for tuition refunds. This cancellation policy still applies for registrations received less than 7 days prior to the start of the course. If I decide to cancel my registration, I understand that the date I officially withdraw will determine the amount of refund, if any, I will receive.
