The Swannanoa Valley Tree Alliance (SVTA) will host their 2023 Spring Walking Tour on EARTH DAY: Saturday, April 22nd - 10am - 12pm. Tour will start at Black Mountain United Methodist Church (101 Church Street), and will showcase 10+ SVTA Treasured Trees. The walking tour is approximately 2-2.5 miles,with a brief stop at each tree to share history/significance. Attendees are encouraged to bring water and wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes with layered clothing (to accommodate varying spring temperatures).
