FREE to Scott County businesses. Join us for the April 12th Welcoming Wednesday, business event. This month's guest is Lisa Jemtrud, of the Better Business Bureau. Lisa provides overall management and leadership of BBB Foundation, the charitable education arm of BBB; as well as the community relations division for Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota. Serving BBB mission for over two decades, her work has included combating misleading advertising, investigating unethical business practices, and training consumers of all ages on how to spot scams. Jemtrud holds a Master’s degree in Administration of Justice, with an emphasis in alternative dispute resolution and white collar crime, from Southern Illinois University. She is a Past President of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals, MN Chapter. She is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Twin Cities (a program of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce) and chairs the Coalition Against Marketplace Fraud, a partnership with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies
