The MN Floral Collective was founded on the principles of cultivating creativity, kindness, and collaboration throughout the MN floral community. This is our first event to help bring us together in the belief of community over competition and to help every florist in attendance to bloom BOLDER in their business. The event will feature demonstrations, networking opportunities, a hands-on floral creations bar, and a charcuterie-style lunch including a floral infusions bar. Our first demonstration will be with local floral powerhouse Emma Kelsey from Kindred Blooms teaching her signature bouquet. The natural airy feel of her bouquets will leave you inspired with fun textures and bold bloom choices. Emma also has a strong focus on local and sustainable flower choices. Christi from Studio C will be teaching her beautiful compote-style centerpiece. With Christi's expansive experience in the Minneapolis floral market and stunningly beautiful work, she will also be sharing her expertise in pricing for profit so we can remove some of the mystery around it. Sustainability is at the forefront of many florists' minds and is starting to cause a shift in the floral world to implement sustainable business practices. Hannah from Minnefloral Co. has been at the forefront of the sustainable floristry movement and will talk about implementing practices of sustainability into your business. She also will be leading us through a foam-free hanging installation method. Everflora Twin Cities is sponsoring all the amazing flowers for the event and we are excited to partner with them for this experience. Julie from Everflora Twin Cities will share how to use Holex for everyday orders and the upcoming wedding season. And finally, Jeni from Green Goddess Floral, the founder of the MN Floral Collective and The Floral Hustle Podcast will be talking about having confidence in your business. Confidence in your business can help you, show up boldly on social media, book your next event while charging your worth, and it will take your business to the next level.
