Join us as we celebrate Ashley's 40th anniversary with the release of our first private barrel whiskey (more to come throughout or anniversary year) Our tasting panel traveled to Louisville at the end of last year to sample and pick a barrel of Old Forester to celebrate Ashley's 40th Anniversary. Bottled at cask strength (126.9 proof) and from warehouse H ,this whiskey really stood out from all the others we tasted. As a special treat for this bourbon event we will also be sampling a bottle of Jack Daniels Sinatra Select. Sinatra Select pays tribute to Jack’s biggest fan: Frank Sinatra. Made with their unique “Sinatra Barrels” that have deep grooves specially carved into their staves to expose the whiskey to extra layers of toasted oak. This added exposure imparts a rich amber color, bold character, and pleasant smokiness, punctuated by an incredibly smooth vanilla finish. Much like Frank, this Tennessee Whiskey is one of a kind. Special Guest Desire Blevins from Brown Forman will guide us through this tasting of whiskies from their distilleries, Old Forester, Jack Daniels, and Woodford Reserve.
