Join us for our Leadership Speakers Series, featuring Danny Persaud, President and Chief Executive Officer of MidFlorida Armored Danny Persaud is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MidFlorida Armored and has thirty-two years of experience in the armored car industry and security banking logistics. In 2001, he built MidFlorida Armored from the ground up and has established this cash logistics management company’s well-deserved reputation by offering a number of top-tier security services. These services include executive and asset protection, in-store loss prevention, as well as ATM cash replenishment, vault processing and cash logistics. During his tenure as President/CEO, Persaud has overseen the rapid growth of Mid Florida Armored to become the largest independent armored car company in the Southeastern United States. A passionate leader with first-class communication skills and a long track record of successful management, Persaud has extensive knowledge of all current economic, social and regulatory issues. An inspiring and motivational manager with first-rate interpersonal skills and the ability and passion to develop the vision of any company he manages. Possessing over 32 years of experience, he will always ensure that clear objections and expectations are delivered and maintained. He is adept at formulating creative solutions to business problems and his business history demonstrates and eye for building qualified teams of professionals to bring these solutions to fruition Persaud remains active in the community and among his roles over the years, he has mentored hundreds of children throughout the year and has served as a sponsorship chair for Strides American Cancer Society. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors with the College of Business at Florida State University, an Honorary Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and serves on multiple boards throughout the state. Persaud studied at Kellogg University and received the National Leadership Award from the National Congressional Committee, Washington DC, the 2018 Commissioner’s Business Recognition Award for his continuous outstanding support of education in Hillsborough County and numerous awards that support growth in the community. Currently Persaud is working on cultivating sustainable energy sources and biodegradable packaging to boost the community’s green movements. The Leadership Speaker Series is dedicated to bringing outstanding leaders from the private, government and nonprofit sectors to campus to discuss business topics and corporate strategies with students, faculty, alumni and members of the community.
